Glenmary School located in Peace River, Alberta requires a Full-time Temporary French Immersion Teacher starting February 2, 2026, to June 26, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Course assignments include courses in Junior High Science, Math, and French Language Arts, Senior High Sciences, and potentially other courses in the candidate's skill set.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in oral and written French and possess training, knowledge, and experience in Science and Math and have an understanding of assessment for learning. The successful candidate will be required to support students who have individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning.
The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency would be considered assets.
The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural community environment and be a team player, willing to collaborate, communicate and work together with fellow colleagues. Catholic and non-catholic applicants are welcome to apply.
