Vice-Principal
Holy Family School
Grimshaw, Alberta
Holy Family Catholic Regional School Division is seeking a highly motivated educator with visionary
leadership to fill the role of Temporary Vice-Principal at Holy Family School in Grimshaw, Alberta.
The Temporary Vice-Principal position runs from January 5, 2026, to June 26, 2026, with the possibility
of extension.
The successful candidate will be offered a Temporary Administration contract and must be willing to work
as a valued member of the administrative team, demonstrating a passion for instructional leadership,
initiative, and a commitment to Catholic education. The successful candidate will be a member of the
school’s administrative team and participate in division training and initiatives.
The assignment designation will be approximately
● 0.50 Vice-Principal Designation/Coordination
● 0.50 Teacher assignment dependent on the candidate's skillset
Holy Family School offers a broad range of courses and programming for grades K-9.
The ideal candidate will:
● Will be eligible to be a teacher in the province of Alberta.
● Will be a member of the school’s administrative team and participate in training and
initiatives.
● Be a practicing Catholic who demonstrates a commitment to the Catholic faith.
● Support building a culture of high expectations for students and staff, promoting and
modeling lifelong learning.
● Cultivate a climate of mutual respect with students, promoting engagement and positive
behavioral support.
● Demonstrate effective communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
● Has experience and a proven track record as a teacher leader.
● Effectively support the planning and management of the resources of the school.
● Demonstrate flexibility and a readiness to take on roles and challenges
● Preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s Degree or who are working towards
their Master’s Degree
