Run for Trustee with HFCRD
Are you passionate about education and making a difference? Trusteeship offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Catholic education in your community.
What Does a Trustee Do?
Becoming a trustee for HFCRD means acting as a governing board to advocate for students, support Catholic values, and help guide the long-term growth of the schools in our communities. Trustees ensure that decisions reflect community values and needs, oversee financial management, and ensure operations meet student needs in a faith-centered environment.
Trustees work with fellow board members to set the division's direction, ensuring Catholic teachings guide policies and priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Aligning division priorities with Catholic values
Engaging with the community
Evaluating the superintendent’s performance
Advocating for resources to maintain a high-quality Catholic education
Monthly board meetings and committee work
Trustees also represent HFCRD in provincial committees and work with other Catholic educators to enhance education.
Why Become a Trustee?
Serving as a trustee allows you to make a lasting impact on Catholic education. Whether new to governance or experienced, your involvement helps shape a bright future for students and families. Trusteeship is a way to give back to your community while ensuring high standards in education and faith formation.
