Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Lavoie as the new Vice Principal of Good Shepherd School, effective immediately.
Angela was born and raised on a farm in Girouxville, Alberta, and has deep roots in the community. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education in 2011 and began her teaching career at Glenmary School that same year. In 2020, she made the transition to Good Shepherd School, where she currently teaches French Immersion.
Angela is a proud mother of three sons, all of whom attend Good Shepherd School. Outside of teaching, she can often be found supporting her sons at the hockey rink.
Angela is passionate about education and dedicated to helping Good Shepherd reach its fullest potential. “I am both excited and honored to step into the role of Vice Principal at Good Shepherd School. It’s truly a blessing to be part of a school community that is so focused on student success, and I look forward to supporting both the staff and students in new and meaningful ways.”
“Angela’s experience and dedication to our Division and Good Shepherd School make her an excellent choice for Vice Principal,” says Superintendent Betty Turpin. “Her passion for education, combined with her strong faith and connection to the community, will be invaluable as she takes on this important role.”
