By-Election for Ward 2 – McLennan
Following the resignation of Ward 2 – McLennan Trustee Tom Henihan at the March Board of Trustees Meeting, a motion was made in the April meeting to move forward with a by-election.Nomination Day is set for Wednesday, May 15th at Noon.The Election would be held Wednesday, June 12th.Candidates must submit their completed nomination forms to the HFCRD Central Office in Peace River (10307 – 99 St) or Ecole Providence School in McLennan (151 – 3rd Avenue NW) during regular business hours anytime between now and the Nomination Day deadline.
Upcoming Meeting with Grande Prairie Catholic School Division
The HFCRD Board of Trustees & Superintendent will be meeting with Grande Prairie Catholic School Division on Monday, May 6th to discuss the future of St. Thomas More School in Fairview.
Joint Board Meeting with Peace River School Division
The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division Board of Trustees will be meeting with the Peace River School Division Board of Trustees on May 16th, 2024.Topics of discussion may include the St. Thomas More School, the viability of a joint community sport partnership, the Michael Procter endowment scholarship, and the 2024-25 school calendar.
