The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is proud to share the results of its Annual Education Results Report (AERR), which highlights the Division’s strong performance in key areas, with several indicators surpassing the provincial averages.

The AERR is a comprehensive summary of the division’s performance over the past year, according to Parents, Students, and Teachers. It is part of the accountability framework in Alberta’s education system and is designed to give insight into how well school divisions are achieving their goals and meeting educational standards.

Key Highlights of the 2023-2024 Report:

  • Citizenship: HFCRD achieved an 82.0% overall satisfaction rate in student citizenship, reflecting strong engagement in fostering responsible, active citizens. This includes satisfaction from teachers, parents, and students regarding how well students model active citizenship, surpassing the provincial average of 79.4%.
  • Access to Supports and Services: 84.3% of those surveyed expressed satisfaction with the availability of supports and services in our schools, exceeding the Alberta average of 79.9%. This reflects our ongoing efforts to ensure every student has the resources they need to succeed.
  • Parental Involvement: With an outstanding 85.3% satisfaction rate, HFCRD continues to demonstrate exceptional engagement with parents, well above the provincial average of 79.5%. This highlights the strength of the partnership between families and schools in fostering student achievement.
  • School Improvement: 80.6% indicated they are satisfied with the ongoing improvements in HFCRD schools, surpassing the provincial average of 75.8%. 
  • Quality of Education (Parent Perception): With a satisfaction rate of 85.4%, HFCRD parents overwhelmingly rate the quality of education as exceptional, higher than the Alberta average of 83.8%. 
  • Teacher Professional Growth Opportunities: HFCRD boasts a remarkable 89.0% satisfaction rate in this area, significantly exceeding the provincial average of 81.1%. This underscores the Division's dedication to supporting the professional development of our teachers, which directly impacts student success.
