In the spirit of giving this holiday season, the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) made a contribution to the annual Stuff a Bus event in Peace River today.
Superintendent Betty Turpin, and Assistant Superintendents Lauri Goudreault & Victoria Cornick dropped off a donation of toys at the River Country & KIX FM parking lot in downtown Peace River.
The Stuff a Bus event, a beloved local tradition, encourages the community to donate to the food bank and also drop off toys for children in need, ensuring that every child can experience the joy of Christmas. HFCRD's donation reflects the division’s ongoing commitment to serving the local community and spreading holiday cheer to those who need it most.
“We are grateful to be part of such a meaningful event and to support the Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots program,” said Superintendent Turpin. “It’s a small way we can make a big difference in the lives of children and families this Christmas season.”
The donation is part of the division’s larger mission of faith, charity, and service, ensuring that the community is supported, especially during the holidays.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making Stuff a Bus 2024 a success, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of giving in the years to come.
