The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce the new administration team for St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie.

Matthew Morrisey will be assuming the role of Principal.

The role of Vice Principal will be shared by Stephanie Dube & Alicia Milner.

“It’s a great team that we have in place, and I look forward to seeing them work with the rest of the wonderful staff and students, to support the high quality of education that is expected at St. Andrews”, says Superintendent Betty Turpin.

I am very excited to be venturing into this new role as vice-principal here at St. Andrew’s.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts, Music Major, in 2001, and my Bachelor of Education in 2003, both at Concordia University.

I have spent time in the classroom in various capacities, including teaching music, grades one and two, junior high math and working in student services.

I grew up in High Prairie, and the Lesser Slave Lake Region is my home.

I have been blessed to have been a student at this school, a teacher in a variety of positions, and to now have my own daughter attending here. St. Andrew’s has truly been a family experience.

My passions are music, technology and, most importantly, teaching and learning. I look forward to the opportunity to further develop my skill set.

It is my pleasure to be here to serve you and our students.

I then moved across the country to Alberta for my first teaching job at Manning Elementary School.

In 2016 I joined The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, working at Ecole Providence, and then joined the grade 6 team at St. Andrew’s in 2021.

Most recently, in 2023, I completed my Master of Education degree from Athabasca University.
