Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Connellan as a new Vice Principal at Glenmary School, beginning in August 2025.
Mr. Connellan has been a dedicated member of HFCRD since 1990. He began his teaching career at Holy Family School, where he developed a deep passion for Catholic education and student development. In 1995, he transitioned into school administration, serving as Vice Principal and later Principal. In 2005, he accepted a new leadership role at Good Shepherd School in Peace River, continuing to serve as Principal and guiding the school community with commitment and care.
In 2013, Patrick stepped away from administration and returned to the classroom at Peace River’s Glenmary School. This return to teaching allowed him to reconnect with students in a hands-on way and share his love of learning directly in the classroom.
“I’m humbled by the opportunity to once again serve in a leadership role and I’m committed to continuing to support students, staff, and the broader school community,” says Connellan.

His strong passion for building relationships with students, staff, and families, academic excellence, wellness through the High School First Responders Program, and Faith Permeation make him a valuable addition to our administration team."
