Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Landry as the new Vice Principal at St. Thomas More School, beginning in August 2025.

Amanda Landry was born and raised in Fairview and is a proud alumni of St. Thomas More School. She completed her Education Degree at the University of Alberta and began her teaching career in Grande Prairie, where she taught for five years before transferring to St. Thomas More in 2008. Throughout her career, Amanda has taught a variety of grades but has spent the majority of her time in Kindergarten to Grade 3 classrooms. She has a passion for teaching literacy and continually seeks to enhance her knowledge of research-based best practices.

Amanda lives on a farm with her husband and three children, where they actively participate in a generational family farm operation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and engaging in musical pursuits. Amanda expresses a deep dedication and love for St. Thomas More School and looks forward to being part of its continued growth and journey forward.

Superintendent Betty Turpin expressed her enthusiasm for Amanda’s new role, saying, “her deep roots in the community and her commitment to Catholic Education make her an exceptional addition to the administration team. I am confident she will inspire students, staff, and families alike as she supports the ongoing growth of St. Thomas More School.”
