Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) is proud to share that St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie has been recognized by the Terry Fox Foundation for 30 years of unwavering commitment and support. This milestone honours three decades of fundraising efforts that have helped sustain the legacy of one of Canada’s most beloved heroes.
St. Andrew’s was surprised by a special banner from the Terry Fox Foundation—an unexpected and heartfelt gesture celebrating the school’s long-standing participation in the Terry Fox Run.
“For 30 years, our school community has come together to support cancer research through the Terry Fox Run. It is incredibly meaningful to receive this recognition,” said St. Andrew’s School Principal Matthew Morrisey. “This honour belongs to our entire school community—who have remained dedicated to Terry’s vision of a better future.”
The school also thanks Mrs. Caron, who has played a key role in ensuring that the Terry Fox Run remains an annual tradition at St. Andrew’s. Her dedication to this cause is truly commendable.
The Terry Fox Foundation communicates with participating schools throughout the year, but this year’s banner arrived as a touching surprise—highlighting the strong relationship between the Foundation and the St. Andrew’s community.
HFCRD extends its congratulations to St. Andrew’s School for this significant recognition and thanks all those who have contributed to 30 years of impactful support for cancer research.
