Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) has voted against ratifying the Memorandum of Agreement with the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA). As a result, the strike notice issued by the ATA stands to go into effect on Monday, October 6th, 2025.
During the strike, all classes will be cancelled and school buildings will be closed to students and families for the duration of the labour disruption. The disruption includes the cancellation of all online learning and extracurricular activities. Inquiries regarding school and other related fees will be addressed at a later time as more information becomes available.
